Many Negative Impacts of Climate Change Predicted for Midwest

Scientists predict climate change will affect the Midwest in many ways, most of which are not good news for the region. Among the predicted impacts are smog, contaminated water, higher food prices, invasive species, toxic algae, lake level declines, and deaths from heat waves.
