Iowa to Assume Larger Role in Global Food Production as Climate Warms

If the Earth's climate continues to warm, climate experts predict a decrease in agricultural production for countries near the equator as well as parts of the southern United States. As a result, Iowa and other Midwest states will be more important than ever to global food production.
